Shop Information

"Ozu Washi" was established as a paper wholesale store called "Ozuya" in Nihombashi in 1653. Since then, during more than 360 years since then our company has continued in our original location.

Ozu Gallery

In our gallery, a variety of exhibitions such as Shodo (Calligraphy), paintings and paper art have been held. Our gallery is available for an exhibit space regardless of genre.

Ozu Cultural Classes

We offer various classes across genres including Shodo (Calligraphy) and Suiboku-ga (Sumi art).

From OZU WASHI NOTICE: Store Opening Hours and Closing Days During New Year's Holiday 2024-2025

Thank you for your continued support of Ozu Washi.
We will remain open until Friday, December 27, with shortened hours on the final day from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
We will reopen for the New Year on Monday, January 6, with regular hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
We look forward to welcoming you!

Year-end business: Friday, December 27, 2024 until 12 AM
New Year's business: Monday, January 6, 2025 from 10 AM
