2001年にニューヨークでデビューしてからの25年間の創造の旅を祝い、この春特別展を開催致します。
また今回、土井作品を国内外に紹介し続けている大塚芳子によるギャラリートーク「土井宏之のサークルドローイング」を行います。
土井は東日本大震災の後、20,000人の尊い命をなくされた方々を思い「地球への希望」を描きました。これは哀悼の作品です。「僕は作品を通じて、人間は手を使って多くの物を作ることが出来る、アートさえもということを次世代にまた世界の人々に伝えたいのです。」 土井宏之

作家は毎日午後会場におります。13:00-18:00

To celebrate HIROYUKI DOI’s 25 years of artistic journey since he made a debut at Outsider Art Fair New York in 2001, he will have a special exhibition.
We will have a gallery talk, “HIROYUKI DOI’s Circle Drawing” by Yoshiko Otsuka who has been promoting DOI’s work to the world. “Hope for the Earth” was created after the biggest earthquake hit Japan in 2011. Nearly 20,000 people lost their precious lives so it is an art of condolences. “Through my work, I would like to convey a message to next generations and to the world that we, human beings can create a lot of things using our own hands, even Art.” -HIROYUKI DOI-
